THE
TOLUCAN TIMES
LA
WEEKLY
“Coby Goss has transformed a collection of classic rural
‘types’
into multifaceted characters of genuine complexity...”
The Chicago Sun Times
“Marked Tree” is based upon a legendary
murder-and-hanging case that took place in the early part of
the 20th century. Set in 1912, the story depicts the love affair
of two teenagers who are doomed from the start. The young girl
runs away from her father’s unhealthy affections to stay
with an older man. The love triangle that ensues sets into action
a series of events, including the young girl’s murder,
which involve the entire town.
Suzanne portrays Edna, once
a virtuous young girl, in the tiny town of Delaware, Arkansas,
who has become a desperate, alcoholic prostitute battered by
years of abuse. In spite of her situation, this tough, visceral,
sexy survivor still hopes for a better life in New York City.
This talented actress just completed a leading role in “A
Day Without A Mexican” directed by Sergio Arau. As an
active member of both Actors Co-op and the Road Theatre Company,
her work has constantly received glowing reviews. She has performed
in many regional theatres across the country and appeared on
various soap operas. She is skilled in conversational Russian
and speaks German fluently.
